An island surrounded by the big waves of the Atlantic. The coasts are wild and the sea plays with the land. A woman spins red wool, the soft clatter of her spinning wheel leads to the voice of the storyteller. The story of the Selkie, an imaginary creature, unfolds. So many things happen between high and low tide, on the sea and on the land, under the sun and the moon. Between Tides questions our relationship to the place where we live, reminding us of the importance of creativity and the connection between all living things.
