Since the first live broadcast in June 2014, opera for all has delighted thousands of spectators year after year and has become an integral part of Zurich's calendar of events. This year, the Zurich Opera House will once again transform Sechseläutenplatz into an open-air stage on July 12, 2025 and present Jacques Offenbach's fantastic opera Les Contes d'Hoffmann. The preliminary program starts at 5.00 pm, the opera performance at 7.00 pm.

The evening before, you can also look forward to the third edition of the popular sister format kino für alle. And the best part? You can help decide which two films are shown. Whether it's Barbie, Chicago or Les Misérables - there's something for everyone in the selection. And then it's “Fingers crossed”! The two favorites with the most votes will make it to the big screen on Sechseläutenplatz on Friday, July 11, from 6.30 pm! Here, too, entry is free.
